*REPORT ON OBSERVATION OF SAMADHI DIWAS OF MANN EKNATH JI*

On the harmonious morning hours of 22nd August 2026, at about 8:45 a.m., Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala, observed the Punyatithi of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade with reverence and dedication.

                                      

The programme commenced with an introductory address by Raikishori Mondal Ma'am, a teacher of the Vidyalaya. She spoke about Eknathji Ranade’s remarkable life, his dedication to the service of the nation, and his significant role in establishing Vivekananda Kendra and building the Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari. She also highlighted the values of discipline, leadership, selfless service and patriotism inspired by his life.

Thereafter, the HOI, along with the staff and students, offered floral tributes to the portrait of Eknathji Ranade. Everyone observed the occasion with respect and reflected upon his ideals and contributions to society.Altogether 29 students along with 17 teachers and 4 non teaching staff tok part in the observation.

                                        

The programme concluded with the Shanti Path. The observance created a sense of gratitude and inspired the students and staff to follow the ideals of service, dedication and nation-building shown by Eknathji Ranade.
