GURU POORNIMA CELEBRATION AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA KADAMTALA



"The Guru is Brahma, the creator; the Guru is Vishnu, the preserver; the Guru is Maheshwara, the destroyer". The Guru is verily the supreme consciousness. The Guru Poornima the auspicious occasion was celebrated at 9:00 am on 10th July 2025 at VKZPV Kadamtala premises on the presence of the esteem Guest Shri Subrata Basu (Zilla Parishad Member), Hysin Madam (Principal GSSS Kadamtala), Shri G. Murganathan Sir (PGT GSSS Kadamtala), along with 25 parents, 16 teaching staffs, 4 non-teaching staff and 217 students. 




The event commenced with chanting of three Omkaras followed by Shanti Paath. Moving ahead the lamp-lighting ceremony was done by our distinguished guest and headmaster symbolized the dispelling of darkness. The welcome address was delivered by Shri P. Appanna Sir (Headmaster VKZPV Kadamtala) emphasizing the significant role of teachers. The event was anchored by Sonakshi Sikder and Trisha Mondal of class VIII who skillfully guided the programme in a decent manner. 


 A cultural programme that includes Bhajans and Songs sung by the students from different grade about the Guru. Speech by our teachers Shri Chhotelal Kushawaha and Kumari Tanavee Bhakta emphasize, the role of Guru in their lives, dedication and hard work of a Guru, the value we learn from guru, the spiritual Essence of Guru Poornima and how to prepare ourselves to be good guides, responsible citizen and a kind mentor. 




The toppers of class-X students who secured good marks were felicitated with trophies by the esteem guest by addressing through their valuable and motivational words stressing the role of a Guru and importance of the Guru. The event concluded with vote of thanks given by Sonakshi Sikder student of class VIII followed by Shanti Mantra. At last, the students offered flowers to the portrait of OM and Swamiji and take their salutations to the teacher and guest by touching their feet.
