 GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION

On 14.09.2026 ( Monday) Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great devotion and enthusiasm. The programme was attended by 170 students, 15 teachers, and 4 non-teaching staff members.

The celebration began with the chanting of three Omkaras, followed by the Shanti Mantra. The students offered Aarti to Lord Ganesha with devotion. Mandira Ma’am delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi and highlighted the importance of Lord Ganesha as the symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and the removal of obstacles.

The celebration became more devotional and joyful when the teachers and students together sang the Aarti songs. The participation of everyone created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere in the school.


The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, followed by the distribution of Prasad among the students and staff. The celebration was a meaningful experience that helped the students understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Ganesh Chaturthi.












UNIVERSAL BROTHER DAY CELEBRATION AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA KADAMTALA

 UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY CELEBRATION

On 11 September 2026 our school Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala, celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day with great enthusiasm and devotion. The programme was attended by 17 teachers and 4 non-teaching staff members, with 200 students, along with other school students with their teacher and invited guests.

The programme commenced with three times Omkara followed by the Shanti Mantra, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The Head of the Institution warmly welcomed the esteemed guests and delivered the welcome speech. Thereafter, Smt. Dipika Shil, a teacher of our school, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the life, teachings and message of Swami Vivekananda, with special emphasis on universal brotherhood and harmony.

The programme included a variety of cultural performances such as dance, songs and a skit. A Swami Vivekananda get-up was also organised were students enthusiastically participated and shared the value able messages of Swami ji reflecting his personality and ideals.


The celebrations were graced by the presence of the esteemed guests—Dr. C. Rani, PHC Kadamtala; Shri Mohan Singh, J.E., APWD Kadamtala; and Smt. Shikha Sarkar, SMC Chairperson.

A Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted to honour the winners of various competitions organised on the occasions of Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami and Universal Brotherhood Day. The winners of the inter-school competitions were also felicitated and presented with prizes by the esteemed guests. The students received the prizes with great joy and enthusiasm.


The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Bishnu Sir, expressing gratitude to the esteemed guests, teachers, students and everyone who contributed to the successful celebration. The event came to an auspicious end with the recitation of the Shanti Mantra.

The celebration was a meaningful and memorable occasion that inspired everyone to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and promote unity, peace, harmony and universal brotherhood.

TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION 2026-27 AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA KADAMTALA


TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION 2026-27


Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at our school Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala on 5th September 2026 with 178 students, 16 teachers and 4 non- teaching staffs. The day was filled with happiness, respect, love and beautiful memories shared between teachers and students.


On this special occasion, the students of Class 10 took the responsibility of becoming teachers for a day. They entered the classrooms with great enthusiasm and conducted classes for the students. This activity gave them a wonderful opportunity to understand the responsibilities, patience and dedication required to be a teacher.

Later, the students of Class 10 organised a special programme for the teachers. The teachers were warmly welcomed by the students. The programme began with Deep Enlightenment, followed by the peaceful Shanti Mantra. After this, Raikishori Madam delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of Teachers’ Day and the valuable role of teachers in shaping the lives of students.


The students also delivered beautiful speeches expressing their love, gratitude and respect towards their teachers. Their heartfelt words touched the hearts of the teachers and made the occasion even more special.


The celebration then became lively and enjoyable with various games organised by the students for the teachers. All the teachers participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the games. The laughter and cheerful moments made the celebration truly memorable.

The students of Class 10 then presented a special dance performance dedicated to their teachers. Their energetic performance brought smiles and happiness to everyone and was warmly appreciated by all the teachers.


The programme ended with the Shanti Mantra, creating a peaceful and meaningful conclusion to the celebration.

Teachers’ Day was not just a celebration but a beautiful reminder of the bond between teachers and students. A teacher may teach from a book, but the greatest lessons are often taught through love, guidance, patience and care. The respect and affection shown by the students made every teacher feel proud and valued.

It was indeed a memorable day where teachers received the highest respect and heartfelt gratitude from their students, making the celebration truly special.
