 GURU POORNIMA  CELERATION AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA KADAMTALA

"Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu,Guru is Maheshwara.Guru is verily the Supreme Consciousness".Like every year, this year too we celebrated Guru Poornima at 9:30am on 29th July 2026 at VKZPV Kadamtala with great enthusiam. The programme focused on the importance of the Guru and their valuable contribution to our lives. A total of 201 students, 17 teachers ,3 non-teaching staffs and 10 parents participated in the celebration.

The programme began with lamp lighting.The Chief Guest, Smti. Hyacin ma'am (Principal of GSSS Kadamtala) along with Jaya Ma'am (PGT Hindi), Mr. Manoj Sir(PGT Geography), and Shri P. Appanna Sir (Headmaster VKZPV Kadamtala), inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

After that, we started our programme.

Shri Chhote Lal Kushawaha Sir gave a beautiful speech in Hindi on the occasion of Guru Poornima. He explained the importance of a Guru and the special bond between a Guru and a disciple

Two students from our school also shared their views on the importance of Guru Poornima and expressed their feelings towards their Gurus.

A cultural programme was also presented by the students. The boys of class V presented a song,while the girls of class V also presented a song on the occasion. Students of class I and II also presented a traditional dance on this occasion.

The most important part was the felicitation ceremony.We felicitate the Top 10 toppers of Class X from the 2025-2026 batch. They were honoured with trophies, and their  parents were also present to receive the trophies on their behalf.

This gave a lot of confidence and motivation to the students, especially to the upcoming class X batches. It encouraged them to work hard and achieve their goals.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Smti. Dipika Ma'am, followed by the students touching the feet of their teachers and seeking their blessings.

The programme concluded at 11:00 am. The celebration successfully conveyed the true spirit of Guru Poornima and left a lasting impression on everyone present.
