SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI AND YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION
On 12th January 2025, our school, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala, celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as our Annual Day with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event commenced early in the morning at 6:00 AM, with all the staff members and students from classes 9 and 10 assembling in the school campus.
The celebration began with our respected Headmaster garlanding the statue of Swami Vivekananda, paying homage to the great spiritual leader and philosopher. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of reverence as everyone present offered flowers and bowed in respect.
This was followed by a prayer session, where students and teachers chanted Swami ji’s teachings and bhajans, highlighting his timeless messages of strength, character, and service to humanity.
Students also delivered speeches on Swami ji’s life and contributions, emphasizing his role in inspiring the youth of India. Teachers addressed the gathering, encouraging students to follow his ideals in their daily lives.

In the evening, a cultural program was organized in the school campus, where our talented students presented various performances, including songs, dances, and skits based on Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.
The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Subrata Basu, Zilla Parishad Member of Kadamtala, and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Lustin, Medical Officer of PHC Kadamtala. Their inspiring words motivated the students to embrace Swami ji’s values in their lives.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to walk on the path of righteousness and knowledge.
