GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA, KADAMTALA 

                                                              Guru Purnima 2021

 

 

 

GURU PURNIMA will be celebrated on the 24th July 2021. Hindu celebrate Guru Purnima also as vyasa puja. Mantra are chanted t venerate the maha guru and seek his blessings devotional songs and hymns are chanted throughout the day. The guru gita, a holy text, is also recited in memory of the maha guru. Flowers and gifts are offered and 'prasad' is distributed.

 

                                        Our school also celebrated on that day through googlemeet and most of the teachers and students were participated. Few teachers were chanted prayer and few students also participated by sang prayer song.

 

                                       It is a day to honor the teacher, or 'gurus' in our life. In the Hindu calender, it falls on the full moonday in the month of Ashsdha, the first full moon after the summer solstice in the month of Ashadha.
