A REPORT ON "AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV"
QUIZ COMPETITION

It is time to celebrate "AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV " and school has been organised a quiz competition amongst the students of classes VI - IX. 

                 Our reputed /social science teachers selected best four students of each classes for every four groups on 20th December 2021.

And on 21st December 2021 Tuesday, we organised final quiz competition on the topic "NEW INDIA MAP" under the supervising of our Headmaster, Shri SANJAY SINGH. 

The competition was organised in our school ground under the shade of a tree, in the natural environment along with our national flag. The competition was conducted in four rounds based on MCQ, Quick answer, Passing Questions and Quick answer with negative marking.

The entire competition was moderated by Smti. MENOKA PAIK and Smti. SUPRIYA GOLDER (Social Science) . The marks were written on the board in front of the participants.

The result was declared at the end of the competition and Group B declared as winner with big Applauses ,it was a great day.

REPORT ON D. BHANUDASJI

On 27th November ma. D. BHANUDASJI, life worker of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA KANYA KUMARI and SUSHRI. VARSHA DIDI, secretary of vivekananda kendra vidyalaya and VENU GOPAL SIR, Academic coordinator visited our school and a small session had taken by Ma. Bhanudasji, we have learnt many things about our bharat mat. He talked about bhagwat geeta , kendra prayer, grantha, different colours specially saffron colour.

           1. He talked about bhagwat geeta,the meter of the book. 
           2. He talked about kendra prayer the meaning of some lines, he asked to all the teachers.
           3. He taught us about grantha and saints and how much important these all are, the                meaning of different colours,why our saint had choosen the saffron colour for flag.
    Then he talked about greenand then white colour, why it is totally different from the other 7 colours.
             
         4. He asked about Bhajan mantra,why we are doing or praying this before food, what is the important of this prayer.

SADHANA DIWAS

As we know that the Maha SADHANA DIWAS is celebrated on 19th November but due to Public holiday, our school celebrated on  20th November 2021 it is also known as EKNATHJI JAYANTI at morning prayer. 

Shri. SANJAY SINGH enlighted the lamp and offered the garland to the portrait of EKNATHJI and then two devotional song and patriotic song sang by all teachers along with all students, and then we concuded the prgramme.

MATRI PUJA CELEBRATION 

On 17th November 2021 our school celebrated MATRI PUJA at afternoon session. Class IX students arranged the programme very beautifully. They welcomed class X students and the a small puja conducted by our school.

 

All class X students have done the puja then all the teachers blessed the students for their best achievement. In matri puja mantra and prayer chanted by the senior lady teachers. The puja was very effective and given pleasure to all.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION  

In our school on 15th November 2021 we were celebrated children's day at our school in assembly, Shri. SANJAY SINGH enlighted the lamp and offered the garland to the portrait of JAWAHARLAL NEHRU. 

Then a patriotic song sang by all staff and students at last the programme was concluded by Head master sir, valuable message to the students.

On 28th October 2021, a programme held by POLICE and FIRE DEPARTMENT at our school premises. They organized the awareness programme to celebrate "POLICE FLAG DAY" week. 

They were talked about 3 different topics, 3 of them has discussed about the topics like 'FIRE SAFETY' , 'MERIT and DEMERITS OF MOBILE PHONE' , and lastly for ' TRAFFIC SIGNAL'.

Students were enjoyed the classes they have learnt  some new things all staffs also joined the classes.

 A Interschool drawing and essay competition conducted by FOREST DEPARTMENT on the topic "LIVELIHOOD OF WILDLIFE".In this competition our school children were also participated and won prize. In essay competition SRISTY PAIK of class IX won 1st prize and in drawing competition PRANSHI BISWAS of class VII won 2nd prize.

VISIT OF ADARNIYA VISWAS LAPALKAR

On 28th September 2021 , Adarniya Vishwashji, Paschim Bengal Prant Sanghatak of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Susri. Priyamvada Didi, Sampark Sthan Sanghatak of Port Blair, Susri. Varsha Didi, the Secretary, VKVs in A & N Islands (Jeevan Vrati Karyakartas)  have visited our Vidyalaya at around 1:20 pm.

Then, Adarniya Vishwashji interacted with the students of Class IX - X, in which he motivated the children through narrating interesting short stories and inspired them to explore intellectually.

On the other side, Susri. Priyamvada Didi interacted with the children of VI - VIII where she motivated them with the incidents from the life of  Swami Vivekananda to develop our personality as wanted by Swami Vivekananda.

Later at around 3:00 pm, there was an interaction of Adarniya Vishwashji with our teachers and it started with the teachers' self introduction. Then Adarniya Vishwashji through his exceptional inspiring speech, motivated the teachers to blossom like a flower and spread the fragrance with love to others and also suggested to follow three rules in our life as said by Dr. A. P. J. Adbul Kalam .

 GANDHI JAYANTI  AND  LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI

We celebrated GANDHI JAYANTI  AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI BIRTH ANNIVERSARY on 02nd october 2021, at our school premises. All the staff along with class IX and X students gathered to the school. The programme with enlighted the lamp by head master sir of our school then one of the teacher miss RESHMA, delivered speech about Gandhi ji and also one of the students from class IX talk about LAL  BAHADUR SHASTRI. Then we all together sang RAMDHUM.

GANESH CHATURTHI

 

Ganesh Chaturthi  also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi  or Vinayaka Chaviti is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Lord Ganesh to earth from Kailash Parvat with his mother Goddess Parvati/Gauri. 

The festival is marked with the installation of Lord Ganesh's clay murtis privately in homes and publicly by Shri Bal Gangadhar Tilak popularly known as Lokmanya Tilak in Pune in the year 1893 on elaborate pandals (temporary stages). 

                       

Observations include chanting of Vedic hymns and Hindu texts such as, prayers and vrata (fasting). Offerings and prasāda from the daily prayers, that are distributed from the pandal to the community, include sweets such as modaka as it is believed to be a favourite of Lord Ganesh.

We were celebrated GANESH CHATHURRHI on 11th Sepetember 2021, at our school premises. Class IX and X students along with all the staff gathered and worship to the god. Head master offered garland and staff and students offered flower to the god. Smti. URMILA DEVI told us a interesting story about GANESH JI.

   UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY CELEBRATION

We celebrated UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY on 11th September 2021. We all gathered the students from class 6 to 10 along with all the staff, the program began with welcoming the chief guest , after arriving of the chief guest and all dignitaries  they all together enlighted the lamp and offered the flowers, to the swamiji. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                                 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, the culture program started by the students. Some students sang patriotic songs, where groups of two girls danced beautifully with the proper costume , then one of our teacher Shri. LAXMINARAYAN  delivered speech about the day and also few lines of swamiji, lastly the program ends with vote of thanks by one of our teacher Shri. SARBJIT ROY.
