GANDHI JAYANTI AND SHASTRI JAYANTI

 On 2nd October 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti with great enthusiasm. The event began by  tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Rai Kishori madam , Pranav sir and students delivered insightful speeches highlighting the contributions of both national leaders. Teachers emphasized Gandhi’s principles of non-violence and truth, while students spoke on Shastri’s leadership qualities .





Spuriya Madam and Tanavee madam performed melodious ‘Raghu pati raghav raja ram’ song . Their performances evoked a sense of pride and respect for the nation. Additionally, the students showcased a graceful dance performance, paying homage to the values upheld by Gandhi and Shastri.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks and Shantipath, leaving everyone motivated to follow the ideals of these two great leaders in their daily lives.

GANESH CHATURTHI



VKZPV KADAMTALA CELEBRATED GANESH CHATURTHI 

 On 7th September 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event began with the traditional installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol in the school premises, beautifully decorated by students and teachers.

The celebration commenced with a prayer ceremony, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the symbol of wisdom. The students of different classes participated in the rituals with devotion, offering flowers and chanting prayers.

 


The cultural program that followed included devotional songs and bhajans sung by students and teachers, creating a divine and festive atmosphere. A group of students performed a skit depicting the story of Lord Ganesha’s birth, which was appreciated by all present.


 

Teachers highlighted the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi, explaining the significance of the festival and its cultural and spiritual values. Students also shared their thoughts on how Lord Ganesha inspires qualities like humility, wisdom, and dedication.

 



The event concluded with the distribution of Prasad among students, staff, and parents who were present. The celebration instilled a sense of unity, devotion, and respect for traditions in all participants.
 
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about and experience the rich cultural heritage of India.
 

 



UNIVERSAL  BROTHERHOOD DAY CELEBRATION

 On 11th September 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event commemorated the historic speech delivered by Swami Vivekananda at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago on this day in 1893. The program aimed to spread the message of unity, harmony, and brotherhood among people from all walks of life.




The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a prayer. The Chief Guest, Dr. C. Rani, a doctor of homeopathy from PHC Kadamtala, was warmly welcomed along with other distinguished guests, including Shyamal Das, GTT from GSS Uttara, and Abhinay Golder, the SMC Chairman. Several SMC members were also present, adding grace to the occasion.


                                                                                                   


The cultural program was the highlight of the day, showcasing the talents of the students through a variety of performances:

Speeches: Thought-provoking speeches were delivered by students emphasizing the significance of Universal Brotherhood Day and Swami Vivekananda’s vision of world unity and peace. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rani, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the relevance of brotherhood in today’s world and encouraging students to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.


Dances: A series of mesmerizing dance performances by the students added color and vibrancy to the event, celebrating the cultural diversity of India.

Songs: Patriotic songs were sung by the school choir, invoking a sense of national pride and unity among the audience.

Skits: The students performed a skit based on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings, portraying his impactful speech at the Parliament of Religions and his message of universal tolerance and acceptance

The day ended on a harmonious note, with students, teachers, and guests reflecting on the values of peace, unity, and mutual respect that Swami Vivekananda propagated.

BHAJAN SANDHYA

 On 23rd August 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala organized a Bhajan Sandhya at Krishna Mandir, Kadamtala. The evening was graced by soulful performances from various members of the school and the local community. 


The event began with devotional songs sung by the teachers, who set a serene and spiritual tone for the evening. This was followed by a series of bhajans performed by the students, whose youthful voices added an innocent and pure charm to the occasion. Local residents also actively participated, contributing their own renditions of traditional hymns. The collective efforts of teachers, students, and local people created an atmosphere of unity and devotion, making the Bhajan Sandhya a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience for all attendees.



EKNATHJI SAMADHI DIWAS

 On 22 August 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala solemnly observed the Samadhi Divas of Eknath Ranade ji, the visionary founder of Vivekananda Kendra. The day began with a gathering of teachers, staff, and students who paid their respects through Pushpa Arpith, offering flowers as a tribute to the memory of Eknathji.

Rakesh Sir delivered a heartfelt speech, highlighting the life and contributions of Eknath Ranade ji. He emphasized Ranade ji’s dedication to spreading the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and his role in the establishment of Vivekananda Kendra. The speech inspired everyone present, reinforcing the values of selfless service and commitment to the nation.The event concluded with a collective resolve to uphold the ideals of Eknath Ranade ji, fostering a spirit of unity and dedication within the school community.

78th INDEPENDENCE DAY




On 15th August 2024, VIVEKANANADA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA KADAMTALA Celebrated 78th  Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The day commenced with a Prabhat Pheri at 6 AM, where students and teachers marched around the village, spreading patriotic fervor. At 7 AM, the national flag was hoisted by our esteemed headmaster, P. Appanna Sir, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The celebration continued with speeches by a teacher and students, reflecting on the significance of Independence Day. Their words inspired everyone to remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the importance of unity and dedication towards the nation. The program also included patriotic songs and a vibrant dance performance by the students, showcasing their talents and love for the country. The event concluded with a sense of pride and patriotism among all participants.





For the celebration of independence day our school had conducted Drawing painting, poster, flag 
coloring  and essay writing  competition on 14th August 2024 for different classes .

RAKSHA BANDHAN

 

On 19 August 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm. The event began with all students and teachers gathering together to participate in the traditional ceremony of tying rakhis. The students expressed their affection and respect by tying rakhis to their fellow classmates and teachers, symbolizing the bond of protection and care. Following the school celebration, the students, accompanied by their teachers, visited various government offices in the local area. They extended the spirit of Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhis to the staff members of these offices, spreading the message of unity and harmony beyond the school premises. This gesture was well received, reflecting the school's commitment to instilling values of respect and community service in its students. The day concluded with a sense of fulfillment and joy, reinforcing the cultural significance of the festival.

CELEBRATE SIKSHA SAPTAH AT VKZPV KADAMTALA.

CELEBRATED  SIKSHA SAPTAH AT VKZPV, KADAMTALA


The Shiksha Saptah initiative , aimed at fostering collaboration and promoting the educational reforms introduced by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, was observed with enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala from July 22 to July 29, 2024. The week-long celebration focused on engaging students, educators, and stakeholders through various theme-based days.


Teaching-Learning Material Day (22 July 2024): The week commenced with a display of innovative teaching-learning materials. Teachers and students showcased creative resources, emphasizing active and participatory learning methods.



Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Day (23 July 2024): The second day highlighted the importance of foundational literacy and numeracy. Activities included interactive reading sessions, math games, and workshops designed to strengthen basic skills among young learners.


Sports Day (24 July 2024): Physical education took center stage on Sports Day. Students participated in various athletic events, promoting physical fitness , teamwork , and sportsmanship.



Cultural Day (25 July 2024): Cultural Day celebrated the rich heritage and diversity of India. Students performed traditional dances , songs , and dramas, fostering a sense of cultural pride and unity .



Skilling and Digital Initiatives Day (27 July 2024): This day focused on the integration of digital tools and vocational skills in education. Demonstrations on coding , digital literacy , and skill development workshops prepared students for the future.



Eco Clubs for Mission Life/School Nutrition Day (28 July 2024): The penultimate day highlighted environmental awareness and healthy living . Activities included tree planting , waste management sessions , and discussions on nutritious eating habits.



Tithi Bhojan (29 July 2024): The week concluded with Tithi Bhojan , where students, parents , and teachers shared a meal together, symbolizing community spirit and mutual support .



Overall , Shiksha Saptah successfully promoted the objectives of NEP 2020 , fostering an environment of holistic education and community engagement at Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala.

On 29 July 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala organized a Bhajan Sandhya at Shiv Mandir Kadamtala . The event commenced at 5 PM and was graced by the presence of teachers, staff, students, and parents . The serene atmosphere of the temple was filled with melodious bhajans , fostering a sense of devotion and community among attendees . Teachers and students actively participated , leading the congregation in soulful renditions of traditional hymns . The event provided an opportunity for everyone to come together in a spiritual setting , enhancing the bond between the school and the community . Parents expressed their gratitude for the school's initiative, highlighting the importance of such cultural and spiritual gatherings . The Bhajan Sandhya concluded with a collective prayer for peace and prosperity , leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and spiritual upliftment .

SECRETARY VISIT AT VKZPV KADAMTALA ON 23/07/2024

            SECRETARY VISIT AT VKZPV KADAMTALA ON 23/07/2024 


On July 23, 2023, Secretary Sushree Varsha Bujone visited Vivekananda Zila Parishad Vidyalaya , Kadamtala . The meeting commenced with the chanting of three Omkaras followed by a patriotic song. Headmaster Shri P. Appanna introduced Secretary Varsha Bujone to all staff members . During the meeting , Secretary Didi  organized the teachers into four groups based on their residential areas . Uttara Vistar , Shantunu Vistar , Shri Krishna Vistar , and Shitala Vistar . This division aimed to facilitate better coordination and communication among the teachers . A significant part of the discussion focused on distinguishing between class work and homework, emphasizing the importance of understanding these concepts to improve the teaching process . The meeting concluded after this discussion . The visit was marked by an engaging and productive interaction , fostering a sense of unity and clarity among the staff .

Celebration of Guru purnima at VKZPV Kadamtala 2024-2025

GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya in Kadamtala come alive with devotion and gratitude. The celebration took place on the 20th of July. Immediately after the morning assembly. 

 



The event commenced with students and teachers  coming together to sing melodious songs , honoring the significance of Guru Purnima . The harmonious voices filled the air with reverence and respect for the teachers, who are considered the guiding Lights in the Journey of knowledge and wisdom,

 



Following the musical tribute. Students approached their teachers to seek their blessings . This gesture symbolized the deep respect and gratitude the students hold for their mentors , acknowledging the vital role teachers play in shaping their Lives and future .




The atmosphere was filled with a sense of devotion and thankfulness, making the Guru Purnima celebration a memorable and heartwarming event at Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya, Kadamtala . There are 236 students, 16 teaching staffs and 04 non teaching staffs are participated and successfully completed the programme .

On the 16th of July 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zila Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala organized a yoga session for students of classes 8th, 9th, and 10th .  The event was held at the serene and spiritually uplifting location of Kali Mandir in Shantanu , with the aim of promoting physical health , mental well-being , and the importance of holistic development among students . The session was closely observed by the school’s dedicated teachers , ensuring that students practiced the yoga techniques correctly and safely . Objectives Promote Physical Health . To introduce students to the benefits of regular yoga practice for maintaining physical fitness and flexibility . Enhance Mental Well-being . To help students manage stress and anxiety through mindfulness and breathing exercises . Encourage Holistic Development . To install a balanced approach to life , integrating physical , mental , and spiritual well-being.

On  13 July 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya Kadamtala organized a Kendra Varga event at Uttara Community Hall from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The program commenced with an invocation by  Chotelal Kushawaha , Who recited the Bhadram Kasnebhi and  Aikhya Mantra , setting a serene and spiritual tone for the event . Following the invocation , Manoka Ma'am captivated the audience with a heartfelt rendition of  " Bane Hum Rashtra Ke Yogi " a song that resonated with the theme of national pride and dedication . The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of classes 6th to 10th , along with their parents , creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere . A key highlight of the event was the yoga session , where participants engaged in various yoga asanas, promoting physical well-being and mindfulness. The session was a testament to the holistic education approach of the Vidyalaya, emphasizing the importance of mental and physical health .
