AWARENESS PROGRAM ABOUT POCSO ACT.

        VIVEKANANDA KENDRA ZILLA PARISHAD VIDYALAYA, KADAMTALA

POCSO Act, 2012 was enacted when the cases of sexual abuse against children were rising.
           It contains provisions regarding the protection of children from sexual assault and pornography and lays down the procedure for the implementation of these laws. 

On 25th July 2022 the Police department came and conducted a session for the classes VIII - X. They have conducted a awareness program regarding POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), TRAFFICKING, CYBER CRIME. 

Students as well as teachers got many new information regarding these session, it was very important and useful for our Students. 

WORLD'S ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION

On 23rd July Forest Department of Kadamtala visited our school for plantation. 

They have brought many plants for plantation teachers and students all were participated and planted each plant, and also celebrated 73rd VANMAHOTSAV forest department conducted a competition and from our school many students were participated the competition held into three groups classes from I - V, VI - VIII, and IX- XII.

Our school got few  prizes from first category PIYA KUJUR and SONAKSHI SIKDER secured third position and from category three ARMAN URAON secured first position.

 GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION

On 13th July 2022 our school celebrated GURU PURNIMA its a full-moon day. 

This full-moon day celebrated as the birthday of GURU VED VYAS and also on this day we all gives tribute to our Guru. 

One of our staff Shri. RAKESH BISWAS share his view on this day, students and teachers all know some new things about this day.

FIRE WEEK

On 08th July 2022, Fighter fighters came  from Fire Station, they had brought some fire extinguisher and explained very nicely, how to save the school as well as the house, they shown demo very nicely.

 Students and teachers all were enjoyed the class. They asked some two lady staffs from our school participated in that demo.

SAMADHI DAY CELEBRATION

On 4th July 2022, We gathered at 2:00pm in school assembly place to celebrate Maha SAMADHI DAY of SWAMIJI, one of the staff Smti. SUPRIYA GOLDER had inform the students about the importance of the day. The day concluded with prayer.
